Belva Newby Brown

September 16, 1935 — May 25, 2018

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Belva Newby Brown, 82 of Junction, passed away May 25, 2018 in Provo. She was born September 16, 1935 in Koosharem to Austin Christian and Veada Newby Brown. She married Ronald D Brown, March 26, 1953 in Sigurd. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple.

She was an avid reader and a wonderful cook. She was very fugal and enjoyed making her own things. She and her husband worked side by side for years as custodians of Piute High School and recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald of Junction; children: Uthana Petty, Richfield; Dina Kay (Mike) Branham, Junction; Terry Brown, Circleville; Kevin Brown, Junction; Lindon (Susan) Brown, Redmond; Yuvonne (Farrin) Ostler, Lehi; Camille Gray, Lehi; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings: Hartley Brown, Sigurd; Arbon (Terrill) Brown, Sigurd; sisters-in-law, Camilla Brown, Arva Brown.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jeannie Loretta Brown, infant daughter, Connie Renae Brown; granddaughter, Jeanie Elizabeth Ostler; siblings: Leora (Douglas) Luke, Clinton Brown, Arland Brown; sons-in-law: Randy Brewer, Robert Petty and Marvin Gray.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Circleville 1st LDS Ward Chapel. Viewings: Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield or at the ward chapel in Circleville on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Junction Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
