Charles Paul Ogden passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, in Mesquite, Nevada. Paul was born November, 20, 1938 in Richfield, Utah to Reed Melroy and Theressa Pederson Ogden.

Paul graduated from Richfield High School. Paul attended Snow College and lacking one quarter from graduating with an associate degree he pursued his desire to serve the Lord by serving a two and one half year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Northern Mexico. Paul returned on October 18, 1961, married his best friend, Carolyn Reid, November 24, 1961 in the Manti Temple. Paul pursued his education at Brigham Young University and graduated in 1964 with a degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Spanish. Paul was hired by Weber County School District as a junior high school teacher of Spanish. Paul received a masters degree in Spanish from BYU and a masters degree from Utah State University in Educational Administration. Paul retired from the career he loved after 33 years in 1997.

Paul is survived by his wife Carolyn Ogden; sons: Wayne Reed Odgen, Terry Paul (Heidi) Ogden; daughter, Patricia (Eric) Johnson; grandchildren: McCall Ogden, Breklin (Taylor) Johnson, Jantz Ogden, Kiera (Cody) Anderson, Brailee (Warren) Anderson, Keaton Ogden, Riley Johnson, Parker Johnson, Cooper Johnson; great- grandsons: Luke Anderson, Rhett Anderson, Bex Hicken, Nash Hicken, Bronx Johnson; brothers: Phil Ogden, Clark (Charlene) Ogden; brother-in-law, Don (Margaret) Reid; aunt, Doradean Ogden Hendrickson. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Van De Ogden.

Thank you for the tender love and mercy to Doctor Jared West, nurse Leslie Oyler, Intermountain Health Care in Richfield Utah, Dixie Regional Medical Center, Highland Manor in Mesquite Nevada, Mesa View Hospice Care in Mesquite Nevada.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Koosharem Ward Chapel, where friends may call from 11:30 - 12:30. Burial will be in the Koosharem Cemetery.  Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
