Esther Williams, 88, passed away April 5, 2020, in her home in Richfield, Utah. She was born in Danville, Illinois, to Robert Henry George and Frances Gertrude Hicks on February 2, 1932. For 45 years she has been married to the love of her life, Bob R. Williams. They were married May 25, 1974 at Durango, Colorado where she was working as the court clerk for the LaPlata County Sixth District Court, Durango, Colorado. For 31 years they successfully operated the Trophy Fish Ranch together selling millions of pounds of Rainbow trout in the intermountain west. They were also both instrumental in pushing for the establishment of the Utah Aquaculture Association where Esther served as secretary for seven years and also served on the state aquaculture advisory committee.

Esther was very active in this community. She played the viola in the Sevier Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Thelma Compton and was devoted to the Sevier Oratortoria Society's annual Messiah and Easter Convenial. Willing servant and Elder in the Presbyterian Church. She is a published author with articles in Country Living Magazine and served with a local adult literacy program. Esther was honored by receiving a life-time achievement from Sevier Valley Writers and League of Utah Writers. Esther served as the treasurer for the Sevier County Farm Bureau, and was recognized for her many years of service to the bureau. She was named into the Farm Bureau hall of fame for the sixth district, which includes Sevier, Wayne, Piute and Garfield counties.

Seeing the world through her clear blue eyes, Esther shared the zest she had for life and loved ones through her service and stories.

Esther is lovingly remembered by her husband, Bob R. Williams of Hepler Pond Road; children: Charles Robert and Cindy Hyde, Michael and Marianne Hyde, and Daniel and Deidre Hyde, all of Richfield; daughter Lisa and Jeff Rudack, Bend, OR; 14 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She is proceeded in death by her parents, and her only brother Robert Curtis George.

Memorials may be given in her name to your charity of choice. At a future date a memorial in Esther's honor will be held at the Presbyterian Church where friends and family may honor her memory.
