Gregory Foch Williams, 73, passed away August 2, 2020 in Richfield. He was born September 22, 1946 in Salt Lake City to Milton Foch and Shirley Dean DeLong Williams. The family moved to the San Francisco Bay area when he was very young. In 1970 he moved to Hawaii and lived there for 43 years. He moved to Richfield in 2012 where he had vacationed for several years and had grown to love the trail system.
Greg’s passion was riding dirt bikes. He was an avid and excellent dirt bike rider. He spent 40 years in Hawaii riding and building trails. As he got a little older he designed a dirt bike that was still fast enough but lighter and easier to pick up. He entered many races and completed the Mauna Kea 200 on the big island of Hawaii for several years.
Greg had the gift of gab and enjoyed talking to people and getting to know them. His day just wasn’t the same if he didn’t have a conversation with someone.
Greg is survived by his life companion, Lynda Hayes; sister, Sheila Smith; 3 nephews and one great-niece.
Greg will be greatly missed by his love ones and his riding buddies.
Cremation services have been held. Memorial services to be held at a later date. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
