Leslie Dean Hartle, 73, passed away February 25, 2020 at his home in Richfield. He was born July 21, 1946 to Charles Lester and Iris Elisa Law Hartle. He married Donna Poulsen, April 2, 1971 in the Manti Temple.
Dean served in the Air Force in Korea. He worked 48 years hauling coal, twice being recognized as Driver of the Year. He was an avid hunter and die-hard Cardinals Fan. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Most of all, he loved his family and was deeply loved by them.
Dean is survived by his wife, Donna; children: Lenny (Amy) Hartle, Annabella; Weston (Melissa) Hartle, Payson; Laramie (Shalon, fiancée) Hartle, Richfield; Dallas (Jennifer) Hartle, Saratoga Springs; Jesse (Samantha) Hartle, Richfield; Leisa (Rick) Cloward, Price; 18 grandchildren with one the way; 4 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; brother, Wayne (Louise) Hartle, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Gloria (Rue) Abraham.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield 15th Ward Chapel, 200 East Center. Friends may call Sunday evening at the Magleby Mortuary from 6-7 p.m. or Monday morning at the ward chapel from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery with military honors by the V.F.W. Sevier Post #5050 and Hill Air Force Base Honor Guard.
