Ralph Walter Ricks, 88, passed away December 24, 2019 at his home in Richfield. He was born May 5, 1931 in Salt Lake City to Walter M. and Katherine Kelly Ricks. He married Lois Oldham, March 24, 1949 in Elko, Nevada. She preceded him in death August 19, 2012.

We will miss Dad’s wacky sense of humor. He was always up for another trip to Nevada. Quite the handyman, Dad had the amazing ability to fix anything with whatever he could find. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

A special thanks to our sister Diane who took such wonderful care of our dad. Also Intermountain Health Care Hospice.

Ralph is survived by his children: Diane Miller, Richfield; Dennis (Linda) Ricks, Salt Lake City; Bonnie (Joe) Marti, Long Island, NY; Debbie (Lynn) Kelley, East Carbon; Doug (Elsje) Ricks, West Valley City; Dodie (Brandon) Loveless, West Jordan; Dawn (Ed) Mackey, Kamas; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Merilyn Blatt.

Also preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Allen Ricks and Lorene Nelson.
