Our beautiful, loving and caring wife, daughter, sister and aunt, Teresa Kay Bagley Navanick, 36, passed away July 30, 2022 in Salt Lake after a courageous and valiant battle with cancer.
On February 8, 1986, in Richfield, Rex and Torri Jensen Bagley, welcomed their baby girl into the world. Her four older sisters loved and adored her. Each one of them feeling as though she was their best friend, but in fact, Teresa’s best friend was her mom.

Teresa married the love of her life on November 5, 2010 in Sigurd.  Sam Navanick was the perfect partner for Teresa. They were always up for a new adventure. Teresa and Sam were not a couple that sat home. They were always going and doing new things. Sam was Teresa’s rock. He held her hand until the end.

Teresa never had children of her own, but she helped raise 13. Anyone that knew Teresa, knew that her nieces and nephews were what Teresa cherished most. She wore the title of “Best Aunt Ever,” with pride. She attended as many dance recitals, soccer games, and wrestling matches that she could. Each and everyone of them knew they were loved, because Teresa made sure they knew.

We are going to miss our brave, courageous, kind-hearted ray of sunshine. We love you Teresa.

Survived by her husband, Sam; parents, Rex and Torri; sisters: Trinia (Matt) Torgerson, Tiffany (Meagher) McConkie, Tabitha (Clayson) Spendlove, TaNille (Kyle) Butcher; and her nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: grandparents, Richard and Loretta Jensen, Rolland and Elsie Bagley; mothers-in-law: Miranda Navanick and Joann Slade; brother-in-law, Dennis Navanick.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sigurd Ward Chapel. Friends may call Friday from 6-7 p.m. at the Magleby Mortuary, or Saturday morning at the ward chapel from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Vermillion Cemetery.  Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
